Human Park IO - Character Design

This was a project I did las year with Virtually Human Studios / Spectre Studios called Human Park. I was reponsible for the character design and concept exploration on pre-production phase of the project.

We started out making a lot explorations regarding what the "noods" would look like, we even consider making it more alien like.

From there we decided to went into to something more human like, here's a couple of explorations on body sizes.

Texture was a big deal on this project, the first draft on the "nood" were about they being this humanoid like godlike beings that could be filled with energy.

Later on we decided to stick with skin, more like an blank avatar in which the player could put his identity. Here we were trying to decided what body type would be the "poster boy"

Finally we set up on having this king of customizable nude tatooed visual that the player to use as a canvas.

We envisioned this as a really inclusive game, so we applied the Fitzpatrick skin type scale so we can have all the representation on color besides also having all the bodytypes.
